Next-door neighbor and baker extraordinaire Bonnie Swanson shared her buttery scones with Mary Beattie at Pincushion Mountain B&B near Grand Marais, Minnesota. Mary took Bonnie’s suggestion: using a small ice cream scoop to shape these spice-nut favorites when baking them for guests.
